The full lineup for this year's "Kohaku Uta Gassen", including Enya, was announced last week. Kohaku Uta Gassen, also known as simply Kohaku, is in Japan an annual top-rated music show on New Year's Eve, produced by Japanese public broadcaster NHK and broadcast on both television and radio, nationally and internationally by NHK's networks. Enya is to be the first western artist to appear on the show since Andy Williams and Sarah Brightman back in 1991. Enya will perform as part of the environmentally themed "Save The Future" section of the show, along with singer and former vocalist of rock band The Boom, Miyazawa Kazufumi.
