Music Of Ireland Part 2 Preview (Update)

On the Musicofireland channel on Youtube you can watch some preview video's of the second part of this documentary titled "Welcome To America", hosted by Moya Brennan. Sinead Madden UK/Scotland Tour

Music Of Ireland Part 2 To Be Released (Update)

The second part of the cd/dvd series "Music Of Ireland" titled "Welcome To America" will be released soon. On the website of Barnes & Noble you can pre-order de cd/dvd that is set to be released on 31 August 2010. It contains interviews, exclusive performances and archival clips of U2, Celtic Woman, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, The Corrs, Sinéad O'Connor, as well as Órla Fallon & Cormac De Barra and T with The M’s. Moya Brennan is not only host but also featured with Ronan Tynan on "Down By The Sally Gardens". The PBS broadcast schedule of the 2nd part of the documentary will follow soon.
Update: Barnes & Noble will offer an exclusive combo pack of the CD with the Part 1 DVD "Welcome Home" as well as the new Part II DVD "Welcome to America."

Dervish & Moya Brennan At Shrewsbury Folk Festival

Moya Brennan will take part in the Dervish concert at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival on 28 August 2010. The festival takes place from 27-30 August. Dervish is celebrating their 21st birthday and Moya Brennan is a regular guest in their performance. You can also see Dervish & Moya and Cormac De Barra on the 3rd September in the NCH Dublin and on 24 October at the Sligo Live festival.

Clannad performed last July 17th in Trieste Italy in the Rossetti Opera House. Moya, Ciarán, Noel and Padraig, accompanied by some members of the Moya Brennan band, played their well known hits and songs. T With The Maggies Concerts Canada

T With The Maggies, the group formed by Maighread Ni Dhomhnaill, Triona Ni Dhomhnaill, Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh and Moya Brennan will perform in Cape Breton Canada between 11-16 October 2010 at the Celtic Colours International Festival. Currently they are working on their album to be released this autumn. More live dates will follow.
