Moya Brennan Purmerend Concert In Pics

Last thursday, 15 April 2010, Moya Brennan performed in the Purmaryn in Purmerend Netherlands. It was the 2nd concert of the Holland tour. At the start there was a little doubt if Moya's voice would be recovered after the throat infection of last week. After the first few songs Moya had warmed up her voice enough and sang perfect like always. Moya played traditional and old songs of Clannad and herself and of her new album, "My Match Is A Makin" together with Cormac De Barra. Biggest change in the band is Noel Eccles (earlier in Moving Hearts and Riverdance) on percussion, and Ian Parker on keyboards who are responsible for a nice different sound. Also Sinead Madden did a song of her album. At last there are new backgrounds (movies, projections) designed by Tim Jarvis. All together a great gig! (Due to technical problems pics do not load.)
